Why You Are Needed

As mentioned above, developmentally disabled adults are now outliving their traditional caregivers, their parents. Providing care for some of these individuals is available but, due to the long waiting lists for housing and waiting periods that can exceed a decade, housing is severely needed, especially housing which reflects faith-based values and dignity. This is Glenmoira’s purpose and your help is crucial to meet this need!

Glenmoira is pursuing lofty goals to help some of those members of our society most in need – the developmentally disabled. Glenmoira, along with Family Haven, Inc., will provide these individuals with a caring home which will allow them to live a dignified, fulfilling life as their parents cease to be able to provide their care.
